Can you kick it? You can? Oh, well that's fantastic news. We're very happy to hear that even through such great adversity (aka British rainfall and random gale force winds) you dedicated lot are still working it haaarrrd guuuurrrlll in spring's new denim flares. Pats on the back all round. You aren't alone in giving the flare comeback craze an extra push this week - our most flexible of fashion conscious A-Listers have been diving headfirst into the new jean pool faster than you can say Tom Daly. Some strong contenders (like Kate Hudson above), some failures and some that are plain meh. We don't like meh. So, who is lookin belle in bellbottoms?

First up - January Jones. Who woulda thunkit? Jannaz is looking casual and cute and millions of miles away from her Mad Men character Betty Draper (who forever haunts JJ's real life wardrobe - like an older prodigal sister who just so happens to also be prettier. That must become very irritating). But get this - January's J Brand jeans are called Bette! Spooooky.

Next it's none other but Claudia Schiffer (a lady who can be relied upon to skip around Londontown in her favourite J Brands for at least 30 per cent of the school runs per annum) who pops a glacier cherry on this fab seventies sponge cake with a heritage blazer and retro roll neck.

Diane Kruger passes with flying colours (would you expect anything less?) and Rachel Zoe will never ditch her skinny flares - pregnant or not - which only contributes further to our theory that this denim shape has serious staying power.

Next on the list of denim do-gooders is Kourtney Kardashian who has styled hers up in various ways this week - loving your dedication to the cause, missy. And kudos on the super massive heels - very leg lengthening for when one is wearing such a wide hem. However, we cannot be convinced by sister Kim's take on the denim trend no matter how much we want to be her bezzie - rips are undeniably passé, non?

And well, some folk like Miley Cyrus just aren't designed to wear this grown up silhouette quite yet - she looks uncomfortable and awkward knowing that her leather hotpants and kinky boots are sat alone and dejected in her closet at home.
